Animals as works of art

In an exhibition room there is an aquarium in which three fish are swimming. All three fish belong to the same species, but three different appearances, which are all the result of human influences - through breeding and domestication.

Pet, wildlife and livestock

• A very small fish with a yellow to orange or gold appearance for home use.
• A medium-sized fish with a grey-green coloration adapted to its natural habitat.
• A large fish with dark gray to black scales, fattened for use as a food fish.
